Some of us met as seventh graders in 1967 when Schurr was a junior high. But because I was allergic to school, in some ways, I never attended a day of twelfth grade.

This post represents my first effort to share with former classmates the unconventional rite of passage that I pursued while you experienced the exciting tradition of graduating from high school.
